Abstract of
Antisymmetry, pseudospectral methods, and conservative PDEs
by Robert McLachlan and Nicolas Robidoux
``Dual composition'', a method for numerically discretizing
compositions of linear differential operators and variational
derivatives, is introduced. The structural factors of dual composition
discretizations induce summation by parts formulas which characterize
their energy properties. Pseudospectral, Galerkin, antialiasing, and
Hamiltonian methods are discussed.
