  Dr. Dave Goforth taught at Laurentian University from 1984 to 2010. He obtained his Ph.D in Educational Technology from Concordia University in Montreal in 1997. He has an M.Sc. in Computational Science from University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon and a B.Sc. from University of Toronto in Mathematics and Applications.

For many years he has been actively involved in different areas of research while teaching at Laurentian University. His current research interests include:

  • Game theory and automata
  • Artificial Intelligence and games
  • Educational Technology and Science Communication
  • Oriental Carpet design
  • Mining Applications of Search and Optimization
